I had my first tickle session a few hours ago. It was excellent.
The funny thing about it is that while I want to recap on everything that we did, I can't stop thinking about the days before it happened. So I'm going to write about that, and then give more details on our actual session in another post.
*When we first met, we just talked until after midnight, down at the beach. The next morning we went out for coffee. I invited him to dinner that night too, because nothing is ever open late around here. We hung out on the couch, watching...something...I can't remember. He tickled my foot very briefly that night. *
When I meet new people, I always do the same thing. Especially with people like Jon, who just oozes coolness. Before I grow comfortable with someone, I have to go through that awkward stage. For me, it was on the 3rd or 4th time we met, when he came back the second week.
I turn into a bumbling idiot. I felt like I couldn't stop talking. I don't remember what I was talking about, but it was probably too much...
We drove out to Twin Lakes, after twice having to turn around because I can't give proper directions, even with using Google Maps on my iPhone. Like I said, bumbling idiot. We listened to Journey. Haha. Don't stop believing!*
Anywho, we explored the area, while it was still raining and I saw something neato. When were were at the base of the twin lakes where the cliffs are, it was raining on us, while about 75 feet above us, you could see snow blanketing the rocky mountains. We hiked around and explored the trails, the rain making it impossible to even do more. It was muddy too. What fun.
I liked the song we listened to.
I can't remember the words
But the tune is in my head...
...MotherMother.
Michael Jackson in the Timmy's drive thru. Epic. That's what we made the night. Epic.
Driving in the rain. *sigh*
Most memorable quote
"you know...now we can say we had our first one together on the beach. How romantic"
"I guess this means we're like friends forever." **
I'm writing this at work. I've been up all day and night. I've got dirt in my nails, in my hair, bruises on my hands and scraped elbows. But I'd say it was all very worth it to not only get to have a tickle partner, but I made a really cool friend too.
Now I'll post the better details of our session in my next blog. for now I need to get back to work.
