My aunt the artist is unreal. She proves that she truly doesn't give a damn about anyone else but herself. Even when one is patient, she makes it difficult not to become fed up with her. .
As I posted previously, my cousin has a problem with high cholesterol. He had it tested recently. He told my aunt it was normal range. My cousin's gf then called the Dr, and was also told it was normal range, and told this to my aunt. My cousin even gave my aunt permission to call his Dr's nurse, who told my aunt it was normal range. Still, in spite of THREE PEOPLE telling her it was normal, she MUST carry on, and say she believes the test results are wrong. While his last test results were bad, and showed he had high cholestorol, those were 18 months ago, and test results can change for the better. . My aunt.. who thinks she is the chief medical Dr of the planet, because she "reads". was ranting on.
After she asked me what was going on with my life, I happened to mention to her how I finally took care of the gravestone for my mom, and also about my concern in regard to my upcoming important meeting. It was at that point, that the bitch told me "She cant think of anything but her own life", and hung up. If in fact, there was a true problem, and someone told her that my cousin;s current test results were bad, her rant would have been understandable. Now that she told me that she doesn't care about my life, the status of my potentially career altering deal, or my mom's stone, when she apparently doesnt have to worry about the current status of my cousin's health, , my attitude is, let her paddle her own canoe. She infuriated me to no end, and I now plan to take a hiatus from her, until at least after my important meeting, and maybe longer than that.
People like her irritate me to no end. Even my dad, with all his flaws, always concerns himself about his family. I will remember that she told me she doesnt care about my potentially career changing deal, or my career in general, and will concern myself about her, to the same degree as she concerns herself about me, which isnt at all.
