Often when in the initial stages of conversation with a fellow tickle-lover, the topic of "fantasies" comes up.
I have a problem with this.
It has to do with the connotation of the word, or at least my own personal connotation.
I see the word "fantasy" and I immediately begin thinking of medieval times; of dragons and wizards and things of that nature. Superheroes and the like.
Those are all great, don't get me wrong. I dig superheroes. I just don't transfer that enjoyment into the tickling realm.
I've never been one for the KGB interrogation scenes. In fact, and this should probably be an entirely separate post, but I don't like non-consensual scenes. At all.
The entire belief, at least to me, of a non-con scenario is that the person being tickled HATES what is happening to them. Since I don't hate being tickled, how can I get into that kind of scene? Why put myself in such a charade?
Or am I missing something?
Anyway, I went ahead and looked up the definition of the word "fantasy". 'Cause I'm a nerd like that.
"Imaginative or fanciful; remote from reality"
Now that I can get behind. Creativity, which will most definitely be a separate topic, is a MUST in any relationship I have (romantic, sensual or otherwise) and many of the things in my head that I call 'fantasies' are most definitely remote from reality.
Volunteering to be tied and tickled for an extended period of time is most certainly not in the reality I currently inhabit. Wish it was.
Anyway, if we speak and you use the word "fantasy" (or I do, for that matter), now you have some insight into the inner workings of my head.
Scary, no?
