Okay.. all ninety six hours weren't horrible.. but.. this has been a very, very frustrating four days.
Since.. Friday.. Three more blown job interviews, bringing the total to.. nine over the last three weeks.
One blown interview on Friday.. two more today. Today was particularly painful. I had an interview in Queens, came home, went into lower Manhattan for another interview, and came back home.
Tomorrow is a phone interview, and then.. I may take a hiatus from all this shit until next Monday.
I saw my dad on Friday, and he was positively wonderful. We talked openly, and honestly. Most important.. he understands how hard I'm trying.
I think.. I blew up at him last time, because he didn't seem to get just how upset I am, between losing my situation at Aflac, and all the blown job interviews.
I have plans to see my friend Adam for New Years.
I had thoughts of cancelling, but wont.
Saturday, of course, was oh so frustrating at the casino. I came within, inches of a huge trifecta, and got two of three horses I needed, with the third one nosed out.
Tomorrow will be the one year anniversary of my passing the insurance exam. What a difference a year makes.
Sigh! I hope something good happens soon. The frustration is getting to me.
