I just got back from my last college class at the University of Tennessee! I had three today and technically I would have a class tomorrow but I am excused from going because I am taking the GRE. but no more classes! haha!
typically I make pretty good and lasting relationships with the professors that I like. this semester I had four great professors that I got to know and that I really connected with. one of them I had taken before, so she knew me already and I was one of her go to students in social psychology.
one of them is the younger, more attractive professor of my introduction to political philosophy class, who I speak to after class just about every day because we have the same "mentor" in the department. technically I had taken the harder version of her class so I have just sort of breezed through.
one of them is my demography professor, who is awesome. she is funny and extremely intelligent and an officer in the Southern Sociological Society so she's also well connected. but I won't get to see her during the final so I had to say bye to her today.
the last is my Sensei, who's just a bad dude. he's the shining example of old and salty, and he is in a martial arts hall of fame for being the best weapons instructor of the year a few years back.
I'm not going to necessarily miss these people, but it will be a little strange not getting to talk to them anymore.
but I'm not even a little sad, to never have to deal with my Power and Society teacher again. his class had made me loathe this last semester. so I am totally ready to begin the next stage of my life. and a great way to kick it off is NEST, baby! 8 days!
