I'm going to the casino today,. to relax and, celebrate finishing the online training. I hope that I finally have some luck today, because.,. the last few weeks.. I had some true frustration.
A few Saturdays ago.. I changed what I had originally bet as a 1-3-6, trifecta, to some other combination of a trifecta, at Woodbine race track in NJ . Of course.. the 1-3-6 came in, to the tune of almost $400. That was my fault for changing the original bet. People told me after that.. Don't change your original bet.. because when you do, most often the original bet comes in.
I think I posted about what happened last Saturday. I had a 1-3-8 trifecta bet at Calder race track in Florida. I left the original bet alone, and all looked fine. The trifecta I had bet was sailing along.. Until. at the end.. a 4 horse nosed it out, and it came 1-3-4-8. I asked someone who knows horses better than I do how much the 1-3-8 that I bet would have paid. His estimate.. around $800! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
I don't go there nearly as often as I used to. One day over the weekend usually. I'm not going tomorrow. It would be nice, if after those two big near misses, and the fact that I passed the exam, if something good finally happened with the horses., beyond the usual losing a bit or breaking even.
