The geniuses from the management office in my complex just rang my doorbell about non payment of rent. It's the.. 8th, lol, and the notice I got said they are filing a complaint with a district judge on Wednesday morning..
Boo hoo! In every place I've lived, including my last apartment in NJ with my mom, we never paid the last month's rent, and lived off the security deposit, which is what I'm doing. In that place, we didnt move until the 20th, and the management didnt say a word. The management here knows I'm moving, but they still had to harass me about the rent. In NY this never would have happened.
My dad told me that if they bother me, to give them his phone number. So.. I did, lol. I'm either moving on Fathers Day if I find out the moving company can do it, or that Monday or Tuesday. My aunt says they can do nothing to me until I'm 30 days in arrears.
Sigh! Its like the Gods are willing me out of here. I cant wait to see my dad's reaction when they call him.
