This afternoon, I was having lunch at my favorite place in my neighborhood.
Suddenly, I dont know even exactly what caused it.
As I've posted, especially in recent weeks/months, I've been having bouts of the "Uncontrollable Shakes"
I had a few very bad days in late April/early May during a series when the Braves were in NY at Citi Field.
Thus, between that, and the cold weather, I decided it wise for me not to attend those games.
Last week, I had two different episodes of the shakes. A week ago Monday night, and a week ago Wednesday morning.
My neurologist reintroduced a calming med I had been taking. I've been feeling better, and I seem to be calmer, and even sleeping better.
Yet, today, while I was out to lunch.
My arms and hands started shaking, and a whole iced tea ended up all over the floor.
For my "Faux Pas" I appropriately issued the waitress and host who cleaned up my mess, extra "gratuity" for their services.
I have not told my neurologist yet, as it was Friday afternoon.
I'm supposed to go to a very important event on Tuesday night that I will get into after it happens, and I must show up, more so for who I'm going to be with than what we will be doing.
I am going, if I have to take the max amount of calming meds I'm allowed. Likely, I will take "some" and put more into my pocket if I have any problems.
Sigh!
Now I'm just trying to rest.
My day began with a bang. (Heavy Thunderstorms in NYC this morning that awakened me from sleep)
The middle was a bang.
Now I'm trying to end it quietly.
I hope, that my body will give me a calm night.
