One year ago today, October 21, 2011, my mom and I went to Denville NJ, where as everyone knows we had spent the summer of 201l for her to receive treatment, and she was declared supposedly "Cancer Free". The doctors told us to go home, and not worry about cancer.
If anyone would have told me that exactly one year later, she would have been dead for more than six months, from brain cancer, and I would have been living in NY for four months, with a completely different life than the one I had in PA, neither of us would have believed it.
I miss her, every day, and my life has not been the same.
The next hurdles will be New Years, what would have been my moms 75th bday on Janoary 19, 2013, and then my bday on January 23.
I miss my mom, every day, and I just hope that she is at peace, and happier in a better place.
