All righty, it looks like I have time for a quick blog entry before heading to World Civ class.
I've recently decided to modify my major. See, I was planning on teaching Spanish, Latin, German, and Japanese on the K-12 level, but I did the calculations and if I tried for a B.S. in all of those, I'd probably be stuck in school 'til I'm 28!
That's nearly 9 years! 😱 Sooo...I've decided to drop the Spanish and Latin and to just go for the German and Japanese because those are the two languages I have the most passion for. Can't really explain why, though. XD
And I got a new backpack! A $55 backpack to be exact....Inorite? XD But it's really nice because it has side pouches to hold bottled drinks and an extra compartment lined with red fur to hold a laptop. It should be very useful when I'm attending IU in the fall. 😀
English class was pretty fun today, but we had to rearrange our desks to form a circle and I was stuck near the window...a ladybug infested window.
It's not that I don't like the creatures. They just annoyed the hell out of me with their constant shuffling in the blinds. >.> There were probably about 4 of them in there.
And guess what I'm doing this Saturday? I'm going to the LGBT prom!!!
Yes indeedly do...my first real prom since I skipped my last year of high school in favor of online college courses. 😀 Gah, I'm so happy! I've learned that nearly 200 people will be in attendance and the good news it that there's no dress code! So you can wear a tux or a dress or even just go casual. I plan on wearing some black pants and maybe a nice blouse since I don't own a dress and the closest thing I have to one is a split-seemed skirt, so...yeah.
Oh crap it's almost time for class! I better vamooshka! But I'll conclude this entry with one of my favorite songs by the German pop-rock band known as Tokio Hotel (shutupthey'reawesome!!!). It's "Übers Ende der Welt".
