Yesterday I finally finished all my exams and inputting grades for classes I GA. At the moment I'm sitting on 3 As with one more exam to be graded, yeah I'm kind of a nerd and a perfectionist. I'm glad that it is all over and I can have a couple months to relax.
Anyway, I finished up everything yesterday so now my attention turns to packing everything up so that I can move to the new house on Saturday. I won't be living there this summer because I have a job down in North Carolina at a summer camp, so I will be renting my room to someone else this summer. I'm probably just going to spend a few weeks back home at my older brother's house before before camps starts up.
I've been going through the stuff I have in the house, and my room specifically. It is always interesting to see what things I have acquired that either I don't need or want.
Here is just a sample of some of the stuff I have already thrown away...
St. Patrick's Day Beeds
a broken digital camera
broken drum sticks
a stuffed animal I found in my closet that my ex-fiance gave me
very worn clothes (If they weren't so worn I'd donate them. there are some clothes I will donate)
disgusting looking cook accessories
a bookshelf that is too old to survive a move
old papers and notes that I don't need
Though the past 6 months have not been as good, mostly because of our neighbor, I am going to miss living here. To be honest, if our current neighbor had not moved in then we probably would have renewed the lease because it is a nice house. Despite the past few months, I made a lot of good memories living here the past two years. Changes is a part of life though and eventually you have to be willing to move on to the next good thing.
