While perusing my favorite movie review site, Reelviews.net (which I highly recommend), I came across an updated review of 1982's First Blood. I'm really not a big Stallone or kill-everybody action movie kinda girl, but I've always had a spot in my heart for First Blood, I've seen it umpteen times and the scenes in the woods always get to me...
This review mentions how Stallone took the role after it was turned down by Al Pacino and Dustin Hoffman.
Now Pacino I can almost see.
Dustin Hoffman as John Rambo.
Um...not so much
Or at the very least it would have been a different film...
