Have you ever randomly heard a song and found yourself obsessing over it to the point of needing to keep it on repeat for long periods of time?
This happens to me way too frequently. I end up hearing a song, regardless of if I've heard it in the past. My mood just seems to be right and it really slams into me.
I respond strongly to music in many ways. It's been an outlet and a comfort zone for me since I can remember. I've been listening to Fuel's Shimmer on repeat since I randomly downloaded it the other day.
I normally know within the first few opening bars if I'm going to like a song. And this opening just really does something to me; Same with the lyrics. I'm just not completely sure what it is doing to me. Which is probably why I keep it on repeat, to try to figure out what exactly I'm getting from the song.
