Well, yesterday was just oodles of fun. 😀 First of all, I met up with the church folks at this pizza place and it was a blast playing the arcade games there! I played Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, and a random racing game. lol I sucked at all of them, but I don't care cuz I had a hell of a good time. 😛 OH, and the food was okay, I guess. The breadsticks were good but the pizza was kinda lame.
But the concert was flippin' sweet! We were up in the nosebleed section of the stadium, but it was a good view of the stars, nonetheless. And OMG the stage effects were simply FANTASTIC! *___* They had flames, all kinds of lighting, and even some confetti at the very end. XD But that was for the people with floor seats. =( Anyway, Skillet was just as badass as ever. This marks my 3rd time seeing them live. I first saw them in January of 2008 and a second time last April (when I had just joined the forum). Awww, and my cute wittle Jen Ledger was sooo good at the drums! =^_^= She still remains my favorite member of Skillet. I just can't believe how much endurance she has to drum for nearly an hour. 😵 And she said on her Facebook page that she was once drummed for 52 hours! I have no idea how she pulled that off and still managed to eat and go to the bathroom, but oh well. XD Details are irrelevant. >:3
Here's a little video of Jenny dominating the drums and thoroughly enjoying herself, too:

House of Heroes was the band that opened for Skillet and they were all right...their music was good, but they didn't have all those fancy effects that make a concert really great. And TobyMac and his band played after Skillet and that was pretty fun. However, I didn't like it when he got a little preachy. God, I can't stand preachy! But it was still good. He had a really good crew of dancers, beatboxers, and even a trumpet player. XD The main reason I didn't like him as much as Skillet was because of the unfamiliarity I have with his songs. With Skillet, I sang along to every tune they played, despite the loud speakers nearly making my eardrums bleed. 🙂
So yeah, it was pretty much an epic time. Except I think I headbanged a little too much and now my neck is suffering for it. 🙁 But I'm proud of myself because me and my brother were the few people on our side of the stands who were actually "rocking out", moving around, whooping, hollering, and going a little ape-shit. lol 😀 That's the whole point of a concert, right? D: But I'm telling you, the people in the floor seats were pathetic. That was the most failtastic mosh pit I've seen. No wait, they weren't even a mosh pit. They were just a pit.
To sum it up, the concert was as epic as all hell. I heard that my church is now planning to see Casting Crowns live. : Wow, if we do see them, it'll be my third time at a CC concert! Good stuff.
And I'll conclude with a very fast-paced, energetic song from the Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) video game:
