I wrote in my blog how I had shooting pains from my head down to my toes on Sunday night, that were simply excruciating.
For three days and nights afterwards, my symptoms were dormant , luckily.
However, late last night , they returned again, with a vengeance
This time, a repeated hard punching sensation in both the back of my neck, and base of my head.
My original Botox appointment had been for Tuesday 5-30, the day after Memorial Day in the United States.
After two episodes in less than four days, and the severity of them, I knew that I could not wait that long.
As a result, I was able to make an appointment for the treatment this Tuesday at noon.
At that point, such will be exactly 10 weeks since my last appointment or 2 1-2 months.
The Botox Dr has always said "11 to 14 weeks"
It also takes anywhere from 7 to 14, to sometimes as much as 21 days for the medicine to get into my system.
Heaven willing, it wlll be fine.
For the last two shots.
I waited from 9-27 to 12-23 for the shot before the last one.
By 12-23 I was in excruciating pain.
My last shot, I waited a duration from 12-23 to 3-7
It is also very hot today in NY, in the mid 80s.
One of the few days that have been hot, in what has otherwise been a cool and rather rainy spring.
Now, whatever the weather, hopefully the shot will cause the pain to subside. .
