Figured I would post this in the blog.
The last week plus has been horrible.
After I was hired for the job, it didn't work out.
It was not because I had a bad attitude, or such.
The job required advanced computer skills, that I don't have.
So.. I got information from a contact, about computer courses that will teach me the skills, , and will be registering for said course (s) tomorrow.
That should help me secure the type of skills necessary to land a computer position.
In the meantime.
In addition to being alone on Thanksgiving, due to feeling ill.
I had an episode yesterday.
Even though I have been taking my anti seizure meds exactly as directed.
I felt woozy, and hit my face/head, thankfully not hard, against the bathroom door.
When I contacted my neurologist to inform him about the incident.
He explained to me that in fact I did have a seizure, which was supposedly "Controlled" by the anti seizure meds I'm on.
I now have to go for a "Comprehensive Exam" this coming Monday.
I'm not exactly sure what it will involve.
I'm just hopeful that once it's completed, they can find me the medication to completely control the seizures.
I've been weak, woozy, and in bed much of the time.
So far, I haven't been told to go to the hospital.
I'm just hopeful I can get through the weekend, and to Monday, and that it won't be necessary for me to go to the hospital.
Hopefully, with minimal activity, and rest, such will happen.
