I've finished up the pencils on the issue and have moved into the inking stage. That was quick, huh? Xodlirv aims to do the scripting this weekend and I hope to have the issue inked by next weekend; Thanksgiving falls in there, so we shall see how I do. One thing seems for certain, the coloring should be started prior to the end of the month, so barring any unforeseen circumstances, it should be ready for its expected release of the week before Christmas! That would only be about six weeks after the release of issue 1, so I think we're doing pretty good.
Speaking of pretty good, the sales for issue 1 have been far above and beyond what I had projected! We're still even selling copies of the Handbook! I want to say thank you to everyone who have been supportive of our efforts in bringing the Super G.A.L.S. to life. We want to keep you entertained for a long time and trust me when I say we've got LOTS of plans as we move on along. If you'll humor me, I'd like to go over a couple of them, but without spoiling stuff:
First, next month (December), Xodlirv and I will be bringing you a few Super G.A.L.S. themed presents! If you think back to last December, I think you may have a slight idea of what we may have in store. It should be fun!
and Secondly, a little while back, we snapped up the rights of a mainstream superheroine whom we found langusihing away in limbo. If you're a comicbook fan and are at all familiar with the past, you've probably seen her around. I don't want to say who she is just yet, but look for her debut in issue 4!
