During this past week, I had to call the tech who sold me this computer.
I've been having trouble with it where after it went into "Rest Mode" it would not start, and I would have to push the power button to restart it, which would not be easy.
During the call, the tech cleaned out viruses, and set the computer where it only goes into screen saver, where all I have to do is push the mouse to get online.
Last night I finished watching a movie at 2 am, really 3 am because of the time change in the Eastern US.
I was surfing around for a couple of things.
Suddenly the computer completely froze up, and all the icons disappeared.
I tried pushing the mouse, no dice
The tech had told me not to touch the power button.
However, I knew from this computer, that the only way to resolve this is to restart it.
Luckily, Thank Heavens. After it restarted, it went back into screen saver, and this morning when I went online, all I had to do was push the mouse and all seems okay.
That was critical because I did not want to, cannot pay the tech for another phone appointment to do any more work. While that situation is less than if he would have made a house call, which he has not been doing due to Covid, it still would have cost me $$$.
Hopefully now all is back to how he set it the other day.
