What has been a horrible year for me in 2017, got even worse today.
My aunt the artist.. whom I've mentioned on here, was diagnosed with breast cancer today.
My aunt never smoked, and always went for regular checkups.
From what my aunt was told, this cancer that she has.. came upon her very quickly since her last mammogram less than a year ago.
I'm terribly saddened for my aunt, my cousin, and our family.
We don't know any details yet.
My aunt has to go for more tests after the Thanksgiving holiday.
My aunt has been very supportive to me since my mom's passing.
I'm going to be there for her in any way I can.
My aunt is basically like a "Second mother" to me.
This Thanksgiving, I give thanks for my blessings in life, and pray for my aunt.
Any positive thoughts/prayers, would be appreciated.
