I went to Garden City today for the first day of Sales School. The trains run only once an hour.. sooo., I decided to make productive use of money, and take a cab there lol, to the tune of $55.
Benny, the Sales School teacher, is amazing. Positive, energetic. His family is rich, in the construction business. He was in it for a while, but didn't take to it. Sooo,. he became an agent, struggled at first, and then took off. He says that with hard work, people can make mucho money with this. After day two of Sales School tomorrow, its off to prospecting with the list K gave me.
People of all ages were there, some younger, and a couple older. There was this one very cute girl. who kept dangling her shoes, and was barefoot inside the shoes, but, far too young for me, early 20s.
All in all things went well. I look forward to the rest of learning, and then to the challenge and success of signing clients, and hopefully, according to Benny, people who I can help to become new agents. Hopefully I can assist these people with starting their careers, in just the way that Jay, Benny, Ed, et al have assisted me with starting my career, and.. then, both the new agents.. and myself.. will benefit greatly.
