This has been the best tickling year yet, easy.

July 14-15 came together surprisingly, quickly and memorably. It started with a gift certificate in the mail to a massage/reflexology spa I'd visited before. Two services at a discount. I'd tried it in May but it fell through. July 15 was open. Also, I'd booked a tickle session with a friend who lived in that same town for July 7. While I was there, she mentioned that a friend of hers was coming to town on July 14. Why not? Now the wheels were spinning about the possibility of a sort of marathon quest to see how many women I could have play with my feet in a 24 hour period, just to see what was possible. I could go on for pages, but here's how it worked out. Keep in mind that at oriental massage (OM) spas they'll do about whatever you ask. Wherever I got a repeat service with a different person, I'll indicate by #. Thursday: 2-on-1 tickling session (2 hrs). Friday: OM #1 (1 hr), massage (1 hr), reflexology #1 (1 hr), reflexology #2 (1 hr), pedicure (1 hr), OM #2 (1 hr). Tally: 8 people in all. Side note in case this reads like some kind of cattle call: I try to be very polite, friendly and conversational when I meet with someone, take an interest in them, etc. Part of the euphoria was that it was a social as well as physical experience, as well as the satisfaction of scheduling so many services/locations back-to-back without a hitch. I was probably the most relaxed person in the state during my drive home.
I'm comfortable contacting my favorite tickling models to ask if they do private sessions. Taylor Raz directed me to FetLife which I'd never heard of before (side note: she doesn't do f/m sessions any more.

FetLife's been a great place to meet new friends. Naive confession here: I've been following TMF for long enough that I'd thought of it mainly as a place to visit the Forum aspect for clips, stories, celebrities. Lately (as you know, if you're reading this) I've been exploring the community aspect and starting to make friends. Frankly, TMF's attraction is that it is populated by ticklephiles, whereas FetLife is a universe of all fetishes in which tickling is a dust speck. It will be interesting to see how each site develops in the years to come. What I'd really like, as one with in-person interests, is a one-stop shop that sorts members by city/town. FetLife records your town, but can't quite sort by town and fetish concisely. TMF asks your location free-form, so sorting's not as feasible.
So FetLife and TMF are opening some new horizons for friendships and tickle partners that made it much more fun to get out of bed in the morning. And of course it's energizing to be able to post freely about my experiences in a place where people appreciate it.
What tickling resolutions for 2012, then (my non-tickling ones are already set)?
How about this:
I'd like to average one post/blog entry per day. In a leap year, 366. That's ben about my recent pace so is doable.
Also, to average sending one new friend request per month. Quality over quantity. I read people's posts, see if they are active, etc. before sending or accepting a request.
Seems pretty reasonable. I don't set goals about in-person meetings or sessions because that's beyond my control.
You know what, I'll throw in a bonus. I'd like to be in a tickling video. People tell me that I have the body and the laugh for it, and someone made an offer. I'm going to explore that this summer. May have a mask on, though. Maybe full exposure will be on next year's resolution list. 🙂
