Hey! Hope everyone had a fantastic Easter holiday and tried hard not to get indigestion. 😀
My 4 day weekend has been really fun, over all. But oddly enough, Easter Sunday was probably the most boring day of the weekend. lol All I did was show up, eat fried chicken, lounge on one of my grandma's many recliners and listen to music with my eyes shut, then played a few rounds of Spite and Malice (which I won, btw!! ). So yeah, it was good. 🙂 But it somehow didn't feel the same since I didn't get to watch the 2000 version of "Jesus Christ: Superstar" with my mom and brother like I usually do. It's sorta become an Easter tradition for us (like A Christmas Story has with...Christmas).
But I have watched a lot of interesting stuff over these past few days. For one, I saw this really neat documentary on Netflix called "This Film Is Not Yet Rated". It's about the horrible bias of the MPAA. Like how they favor male sexuality over female sexuality, heterosexuality over homosexuality, and violence over any kind of sexuality. lol! They showed this one example where this lesbian-themed film called "But I'm a Cheerleader" received an NC-17 rating because there was this scene where the female protagonist was masturbating through her clothes. In comparison, "American Pie" got an R rating despite showing a teenage boy masturbating in the shower. So yeah...it's just little things like that are huge WTF moments on the MPAA's part. I totally recommend this film for those out there who need examples of injustice in the entertainment business. Here's the incredibly funny trailer:
<object width="640" height="505"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/dDqxuGlxbWc&hl=en_US&fs=1&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/dDqxuGlxbWc&hl=en_US&fs=1&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="505"></embed></object>
I also watched a few little short documentaries about each of the Nine Old Men, the animators personally picked by Walt Disney to be the absolute best in the animation field. God, I love Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston. And they died pretty recently, too. Brilliant men, those guys.
And since I'm not only a fan of films, but also of watching pretty people sing and dance, here is a livestage from the Ya Ya Yah show (a variety show featuring young Asian boys in the j-pop business). I always love watching these things despite not understanding the lyrics of the songs:

Wow, Yuto Nakajima was soooo friggin' tiny back then.
Crap, it's probably near my bedtime now. Well, I'm off to work on some last minute stuff before my trip to dreamland. Bye bye, bloggy! 😀
