I dont want to count my chickens until they hatch.. I have to get the apartment first, and have my ass ready to move..but..
If I live up to my promise to move by the Saturday before Father's Day.. guess what will be waiting for me when I get to New York?!

Assuming I move the Friday or Saturday before Father's Day, if I have an apartment, and as my dad wants me to.. the Braves begin a series at Yankee Stadium on the Monday night after Father's Day.
So many times when a major event has happened in my life, the Atlanta-New York teams have played each other.
In 1995, my grandmother died hours after the Braves finished a series at the old Shea Stadium.
In 1998, when I found out about the rent overcharge in NJ, that eventually led to my mom and I moving here, the Braves were playing the Mets at Shea.
In 1999, I moved to Lancaster, when the Knicks and Hawks were playing an NBA playoff series.
My mom died, and was buried, while the Braves were in NY playing the Mets in April.
Now.. If I move by Father's Day.. it's going to happen again! If I move that weekend. I will be greeted in NY by the Yankees and Braves.
My mom, may she rest in peace. used to say that when the Braves came to NY.. it was bad news.., bad luck.
My reason for having to move back was caused by a terrible thing.. my mom's death. I seriously hope that my moving back to NY isnt going to mean more bad news.
Sigh! Why does this always happen? I wish I could move before that week, and that series starts, but I likely wont be ready.
If nothing else, when I do get back there, I'll have an interesting series to watch.
