With all going on in both general life and my Dad's upcoming surgery.
I took some time out last night to watch one of my favorite past times between my two favorite competitors. Atlanta vs New York in baseball.
In this case it was the Braves Vs the Yankees.
I belong to several baseball groups in vanilla forums, etc.
At one point the Braves starting pitcher gave up a long home run to someone on the Yankees.
My post was.
"That is what is called a Fat Pitch"
To me "Fat Pitch" just means pitch in the middle of the strike zone, resulting in a home run which it did last night, in this case a long home run
I have other friends who are baseball fans who have used the term "Fat Pitch" also.
Next thing I know I got a message from one of the admins on the baseball forum.
"This post has been removed for rules violations , no bashing"
I dont know what I did. I did not insult the Braves pitcher who gave up the home run, call him any names, say "He Sucks" for giving up that home run. I did not say anything insulting to any other members, or any Yankees fans who might post on the page.
So next time someone on the Braves or whoever they are playing serves up a homer, I know I cannot say "Fat Pitch" on that page.
Just struck me as a bit trivial or nitpicking.
