So the weekend that was ended up being one that I would most gladly forget...
Let's start with work because all good things start and end with work... X_X. This weekend wasn't too bad busy-wise: the shifts I worked weren't overtly stressful and I was able to make my quotas with relative ease but this weekend was apparently the weekend where absolutely every person I encountered either was having a pissy day or some chip on their shoulder. Some people were downright mean, not to me mind you (luckily for them), but the other employees for sure - one fellow employee got completely chewed out for, get this, doing her job effectively and efficiently...if people had something to bitch about or were given the opportunity to complain above and beyond the general expectation of wrong they would. What I would give to slap each and every one of those people who complained for no real legitimate reason - GET WITH REALITY PEOPLE, THIS IS OUR JOB AND WE DO OUR JOBS WELL. DON'T LIKE THAT WE'RE DOING OUR JOBS EFFICIENTLY, WELL THEN GO F**K YOURSELF SIDEWAYS WITH A FORK.
Other than that my weekend was decently uneventful. More finalizing of the road trip plan for this coming weekend, Snail Shell's gathering FROST, which promises to be an absolute blast! Lately I've been trying to get a good TMF friend of mine who leaves near me to meet my girlfriend and expand her circle of friends here, where because of her recent move she has few. Unfortunately my girlfriend has the utmost bad luck of recently coming down with flu-like symptoms coupled with the brositis in her arm over the last month and a bit...she tried really hard but could not make it beyond 5 minutes of my house without feeling sick. I intend to keep trying and Wednesday will hopefully present the next opportunity since I don't work.
I seem to be getting my mojo for the TMF back so I'm gonna try to post more over the next little bit and get some of my input into various threads and enjoy myself.
