Tomorrow, there will be a plan enacted to evict the Occupy Wall Street protesters on the premise that the park requires "cleaning". When they return after "cleaning", the rules of the park thereafter will prohibit lying down, thus attempting to destroy a permanent demonstration. The park was cleaned today by the protesters, making the point moot, but anticipate police action anyway.
I am now calling two people every morning to encourage them to get out and exercise. I never really saw my job as a personal motivator, but I reckon now it is...
The problems that must be solved in part through the purchase of a Spider-Man mask are rare, but fun to remedy.
I think my supervisor is coming closer to understanding my real value.
Of all the forms of salt, flake salt is the best.
Don't count out Rick Perry. Mitt passed him by during the last debate, and there seems to be an effort to allow Herman Cain to gain steam, but for Cain to stay at the top is unrealistic... Give Perry some time to cinch his economic plan, which, if his team is smart -- and I think they are -- will be simpler than Romney's and better than Cain's. Give him some time to really sink his teeth into that and reliably hit some buzzwords and bulletpoints, and you'll watch him rise as Cain fades. He hasn't hit his stride yet, but he's got enough money to buy him some time. In the long picture, the fact that Romney can't move above 1/4 support of the party is indicative of both his waffling and his religion. He'll have a really hard time in the south with the religious right.
Despite having had more peace, quiet and isolation during the past week and a half at work, I've gotten precious little done. Must change that...
All the best to all of you. 🙂
