While I know that things could be far worse, as they are for many people.
I'm going to admit that my Epilepsy and Migraines are really beginning to wear on me, not only physically, but emotionally.,
If I did not post it..
I started walking with a cane several months ago, not because there is anything wrong with my legs.
I started using the cane because of several falls I had earlier this year, that made me fearful that I would really hurt myself from one of these falls, as I did when I fell over the past few years.
I currently receive Botox shots for my migraines every three months.
I just got a shot two weeks ago.
On Saturday, I felt great, and was able to walk a lot.
Yesterday, Sunday, I had a bad headache, was hardly able to walk, and was in bed most of the day.
I will be getting an MRI very soon, as soon as I straighten out a new insurance.\
I hope that the MRI will determine whether my condition has gotten worse, or I just need a medication change.
Epilepsy is not supposed to be a degenerative condition.
I am thankful that my father is still with me at age 83, in spite of some health conditions that are personal between my Dad, me, and our family.
I am thankful for having a home, and food on the table.
Yet, people with a serious medical condition can get down.
Hopefully the MRI I should be getting soon will determine why I have been feeling so lousy especially during 2023, and what, if anything, the Doctors can do to help me at least control the symptoms.
