My assessment of Barney was absolutely correct.
After his antics in regard to the casino two weeks ago, not seeing me last week, promising me he was going out with me today.. then giving me his "He will have to see how he feels at that time", and not answering my e-mail when he knew I was upset.. Barney did not get in touch with me today. Thus.. He blew off two different sets of plans, and ignored my feelings. I cant go on with a friendship this way.
Simply put, I feel used. This is a bastard who sat in my apartment crying until 4am when he was unemployed. Now that he found a job and a gf, he thinks he's better than me.. so he thinks he can just run the friendship his way, and ignore me.
My relatives think I should get rid of him. The email I sent him was not intended as a friendship ender, it was merely a "This is not a one way friendship, all your way" He never apologized, or offered to make it up to me. He lives in my building, so he could have called me, and come down here, for.. an hour.,. to try and make things right.. even if he didn't go to the casino or spend a lot of time with me.
I was 100% right about the Even Keel thread,. I despise him. Now. if things were to go sour for him, he wont have Mitch's shoulder to cry on.
