I am so insanely sick of my father's selfish attitude [which I think I got from him haha but STILL]. He seriously just pushed my last nerve right now.
So my sister's wedding reception is this Saturday [she already got married ... long story] and basically this IS her wedding. Everyone is going to be there and it's pretty much the main event. So maybe I should just say my sister's wedding is this Saturday. Kind of a big deal, right? Yeah apparently not to my father.
He is going to his boss's wedding instead! Seriously. I couldn't even believe that when my sister told me he wasn't coming. How incredibly low can one man be? It's bad enough he is getting re-married [for the THIRD time this October], and basically forgetting about his original family AKA his 3 daughters and just doing whatever he wants.
I tried to stick up for my dad because I love him ... I mean he's my dad. But I think I am really starting to see the truth about him. I mean it was one thing when he refused to help me pay for my first year of college ... but then he all of the sudden gets his second divorce and is talking to another woman not even a WEEK after he moves into his own apartment. UGH. And now look at him.
He called me today [he also called me a couple days ago but I just let it go to voicemail because I was mad] and I just pretty much told him how upset I was and how I think he is being extremely pathetic by not coming to his own daughter's wedding. Then I told him I might not come to his wedding ... which I don't approve of anyways... and he got even more upset. Well .. yeah what did he expect? Then he started complaining about the distance ... "Oh by the time my boss's wedding was done and I got to whereever Michelle is having the wedding I'd have to turn around and go back home!" EXCUSE YOU? You are having your wedding 2 hours AWAY and we have to stay overnight and get a hotel. I mean WTF?
So now I am sending him directions through e-mail. I don't even want him to come now anyways. Seriously. I'm so mad at him right now. Fuck.
