About two months I posted a blog asking for prayers/thoughts for Liesl.
It's been a trying two months for Liesl and her family, but they are getting closer to figuring out what's the cause of the pain she's experienced in her lower abdomen. She's going into surgery on Wednesday for a sort of exploration of the area where she had her ovary and cysts removed back in March.
About a month ago, when she went into the hospital again because of the pain they discovered that an area of her intestine was inflamed. The doctors concluded that was the cause of the pain, but not why it was inflamed. They did wonder if during the surgery to remove her ovary that her intestine had be knicked, but her doctor believes if that had been the cause she would be in constant pain.
However, the way I understand, the doctor thinks something happened during that original surgery that's causing her almost monthly abdominal pain, which is why they're doing the exploratory surgery on Wednesday.
Hopefully, they'll discover the cause and fix it so she'll no longer experience that pain anymore.
