As winter rages on, I hope this entry finds you warm, dry and well. Aside from the updates below, take a look at the two surveys I have posted on my Blog Spot Page, on the right hand side of the page. And feel free to vote!
GuyTickle's 2 Year Anniversary
More than just the start of a New Year, January of 2011 is GuyTickle's 2 year anniversary! Our first video, Stripped, Tickled and Stroked featuring MC, went live on January 2, 2009 and I've been loving every minute of it since then.
Like most of you, I've enjoyed tickling for as long as I can recall. I'm sure many of you, if not all of you, can remember tickling the people around us growing up; friends, family, etc. I'm sure many of us can remember being "called out" about it as well. Sure, maybe its funny the first time and the second time, but at some point, someone says "dude... what's up with the tickling all the time?!" If someone had told the teenage me that I'd be producing tickling videos one day, I would have thought that they were crazy. Yet, here I am.
The past two years have been pretty amazing as far as tickling tickling goes. Between my Yahoo Group and Facebook the world has gotten smaller. And that's a good thing. A great thing. Business aside, I've met tickle buddies face to face ranging from as close as the guy I see on the subway every day that I never would have known was into tickling to guys as far away as Israel, Italy and London. I've held live video auditions at the FootMenNYC parties and had the chance to meet, talk to and play with guy who know me from my video work. It doesn't get much better than that.
So, I'd like to say thank you to all of you chat, play and buy my videos. And, keep your eyes on the Big Tickle Blog; they will be doing an interview with me soon!
Health and Beauty Turn to Tickling
I wanted to share two recent brief experiences that bone me up every time of think of them.
Once a month I treat myself to a massage. Aside from producing videos, I've got more jobs than I can sometimes manage, so I like to go for a massage one time per month to decompress. I've been using the same masseur for years. He closed his practice about a year ago to pursue another career path, but still sees a handful of longtime clients.Thankfully. In addition to giving an outstanding massage, he's hot. He's in his late 20's, Latino, has the kind of body you see in underwear ads and has dark wavy hair and the biggest brown eyes you can imagine. OK, I might have a little "crush". We have an excellent working relationship that has even grown into something of a friendship. Let's face it; after a few years of physical contact, you tend to bond. I spend a lot of time on my feet, so he knows to dedicate some time to them during my monthly rub. During our last session, he was working on my feet as he talked about an upcoming reflexology workshop he was planning to attend. He began to point out the different parts of the feet and toes that relate to other body parts. As he illustrated all the whereabouts, his fingers poked at my soles and he dragged his fingertips from place to place. I bit my lip at first, but the more he "illustrated" the more it tickled, and I couldn't help but start to laugh. I cannot help but come to the conclusion that he thought it was funny or cute; because in a very
masculine, yet teasing voice he said, "I didn't know you were ticklish!" It didn't last very long, but he stopped explaining reflexology and began to wiggle his fingers on my feet, laugh, and said "Aw, does that tickle?" Albeit brief, it was a minute I had to share.
I also go for pedicures when I can. I mean, if I'm going to go to a foot party, I'd like my feet to be the best that they can be. This last time, the pedicurist was a male; a very cute Asian guy. I tend not to be ticklish during pedicures, but this guy had a very light touch as he moved my feet and toes around; exactly the kind of touch that makes me squirm. The tickling was clearly unintentional and I giggled and squirmed more than I laughed. The hottest part was when he looked at me and said "Big feet, but so ticklish." I managed to get a cell phone pic!
