Very Bad Day. Health

Today has been a very bad day for health

One thing is 100% Mitchell's fault

The other thing is my Dad.

My Dad in addition to all of his other health issues has problems with his eyes.

This morning he called.

"I cant get my lenses in"

This has happened before.

I will call him when Mr Gardner is over.

Then, with the internist

My weight and BP are not good.

Weight ,. 195 pounds, which is almost near my all time high weight of 197 pounds on 3-17-05 when my high BP was diagnosed.

BP 142 over 89. The 142 is not good. The 89 is elevated.

I have to go for a cholesterol test after the first of the year.

My internist said he wants "At least" 15 lbs off me.

I'm used to my BP being elevated, which is why I'm on strong BP meds.

I told my internist that I'm humiliated about my weight.

I have no one to blame but myself.

I know that I can do it. While I was 17 years younger at the time, and I know that it is easier to get rid of weight when one is younger, I know I can do it. I understand someone walking around five lbs overweight, but not 15-20.

Sigh!
