With all of the problems I've been having lately with my health, I had hoped and planned to go to one of the Mets and Braves games during this weekend's four game series here at Citi Field in NY
I wanted to do this just to take my mind off things, spending a few hours watching my favorite sport.
As thoise who live in NY, or who follow NY weather are aware, the weather in NY from Friday to Sunday was terrible.
On Friday, the teams played only five innings, before the game was postponed by rain.
On Saturday and Sunday, both days were postponed by rain. In my 40 years as a baseball fan, I never recall having two back to back games, or two games in any baseball series, postponed by rain.
Yesterday was a very windy, cold day.
The Mets and Braves played a "Doubleheader from 1pm that ended about 7 or so.
I "wanted to go"
Yet, because of the weather, and me being unsure how I would feel, I decided to pass.
My father said he thought I should go, to take my mind off both his health issues, and my own.
As it turned out, its a good thing I did not go.
Toward the end of the second game, I was struck with the "uncontrollable shakes"
My Dr swears this is a nervous twitch, but I've seen in videos about Epilepsy that it is a type of Epilepsy seizure or shake, that happens when someone is awake.
Today , it happened again.
When I got home from chores, etc., my hands started shaking again.
I wrote to my DR to ask for a med refill, and to make him aware of this.
The Dr will probably tell me it is a nervous twitch.
My Botox Dr says I will need a brain scan if my dizzy spells and falls continue.;
Luckily, I have not had a dizzy spell or fall in over a week.
Yet, if this continues, I'm going to need a brain scan anyway.
I know that my Dad is not feeling well due to the soreness in his body.
I've been trying to treat him with such "kid gloves" in the past year since he and I have been getting along better.
I think he understands and appreciates that, but he told me that I cant "walk on eggshells with him"
Sigh!
What the f;ck will happen next?
The cane I have for walking outside so I wont fall , wont help me with these shakes.
Hopefully they will go away
Just like the dizzy spells God Willing hopefully have in the past couple of weeks.
