I typed this out erratically, because I felt like I was going to forget something, so don't mind the grammatical errors, plzkthx.
I'm in this series of connected houses. With this other girl, but I never see her face. She has long blonde hair kinda like me. We're running through these houses' hallways, separately and I even remember thinking as I'm running down like the 16 flights of stairs that : "This must be what my friend said when he told me about going through motions in dreams" IT WAS SO WEIRD because I was like thinking, BUT I WAS DREAMING.
Then we are outside and it's really like wintry out. It's chilly, over cast, with a little bit of snow on the ground. But it wasn't too bad. So the girl lays on her back and she has a gray backpack/knapsack on and I sit on her back and this really cool (don't know what type or what it was) music starts playing and this little fluffy BUT REAL frog with bug eyes and a little bow comes crawling out of the bag and I'm like transfixed on it; the girl had seen it before and I didn't, so it was my turn. So after the frog comes out, he's just sitting there and next this little stuffed duck comes out and she has a pink bow and they start fucking DOING it, but it's really, really fast. And the girl I'm sitting on rolls over and is laughing, and I get off her and I'm laughing because of how cool it was and then she accidentally rolls onto the duck and somehow the duck gets stuck in her hair, so the girl is shaking her head (still can't see her face) and I'm screaming at her to get it out of her hair and the duck's eyes are like FUCKING HUGE now and the little frog is running in circles on the ground, and I run a bunch of feet away and she shakes the duck out of her hair and the duck is like SPEEDING after us because the girl runs to me and we both start running away and this duck is fucking FAST and she's shooting this shit out of her mouth and eyes, it was weird.
So somehow the girl and I split up and I am back in the house and running down the stairs again. The stairs were brown wood with like the quintessential oriental rug type runner. I end up in this basement and I'm walking with my head down and there's these stations like set up, of really, really old toys, but they're standing alone in corners and against things and I remember feeling really lonely when I saw them.
And I keep walking and the basement turns out to be the same coloring and styling (but bigger) of my old daycare center that I went to when I was younger. But it feels and sorta looks like a mental institute of some kind. So my head is down, but I'm looking around from underneath my eye lashes and this blind brown haired girl walks by with a really serene expression on her face, she brushes against me and I fear that she'll stop to talk to me because I don't want to talk, I just wanted to keep walking. But she doesn't, she acts as if we never made any contact.
I go around the corner and through a set of open doors and there's this room inside of a room; like on one side a bunch of people are painting and writing and doing all sorts of art type things and the other is where a bunch of people are sitting, relaxing and just talking. They don't look insane so I don't feel so freaked out, I imagine that all that those doll set ups were that I had walked by were just prop type things for someone's projects.
I light a cigarette and sit down away from everyone, the other girl I was with above completely out of my head. I never once thought about her unless she was with me. This guy sits down next to me. He's a little heavy, but not fat; solid like almost. He has blond hair and blue-ish eyes and I remember that his facial structure despite the extra bit of weight he carried was really sharped and angular; he was intimidating to me and I immediately got up to walk away. He gets up with me and shrugs off this other girl who seemed to be attached to him (in the normal, clingy way. not the creepy science fiction way) I turn to face him and I keep backing up as he walks forward and he has a really sexy like half smile on his face that made me feel like he could see through me and see everything I was thinking. I hit the end of the wall and he stops close enough that I could smell his breath; it smelled like some kind of mint. He stared at me and I finally broke the silence with a "What?" -- my voice was stronger then I thought it was going to be given the circumstances and I remember feeling like I won some battle he and I were having.
Until he puts his hands on my abdomen and glides them up to cup my face in his hands, leans towards my ear and whispers, "I know why you came here and so do you. You don't see it right now, but you will in time; I will be the one to show you everything that you want."
-- Then I woke up. Covered in sweat and every thing (I MEAN EVERYTHING) on me was throbbing. I was frozen with my arm over my head and it took me a long time to be able to actually get out of bed, I felt like I actually needed to SHED a skin before I could get up; it was almost painful. I struggled down the stairs, my head pounding and I got a Diet coke and came outside and the weather has completely changed. It's not hot and dreary anymore; the sun is shining, the breeze is comforting and I can smell freshly cut grass (a #1 favorite smell of mine).
The dream hasn't left me feeling anything negative. I just feel really out of step and I think I want nothing more then a really long hug.

you know that song I was talking about when the duck and the frog came out? it was this: Click.

that song was also playing when I saw that blond haired guy but it was on a stereo almost in the background.

When the duck was chasing me and the other girl, I remember us being right by a chain link fence.

The blind girl was wearing a really beautiful billowy light purple dress.

The girl that was clinging to the blond boy was also blond but she had natural brown hair that i could see as her dye job was fading. She was drawing something on herself with a pencil.

The ENTIRE dream was based sometime in the late, late 70s or early 80s. I could tell this based on the feeling of the environment as well as the way we were all dressed. (the blind girl, the girl with the guy was wearing 80's gear and had the "farrah" like hair) the guy was wearing black jeans and a regular t-shirt, nothing was tight or anything, but like i said; the environment was definitely NOT 2009 or any immediately earlier.)

Before the duck and frog scene which seemed to have happened in the parking lot of the series of houses, I had come out the back door, and was walking down this really steep hill right as soon as I exited the door. There was no grass except a little bit by another chain link fence which ran along the side of this house, where I saw a girl about my height with really short black hair climbing the fence. The fence cut off a few yards down and I remember rolling my eyes and wondering why she couldn't just walk down the few feet and go around.

I looked straight ahead as I came down the hill and there was a house next door to this weird one, with a regular grassy backyard with a large willow tree and a really nice wood wrap around porch. A red car was parked in the driveway there. But the houses (the one next door and the one I came out of) didn't make sense in their set up. Normally a house faces a street or road. Our houses faced this parking lot type thing. And what would be our back doors to the back yard were our front doors. I never went around the house, I was either in the front (back) or inside of it. So I don't know what was there. Anyways, there was an older woman and a little girl unloading groceries from the trunk of their car and I remember pausing before joining the other girl in the middle of the parking lot, to watch them perform the task.
