My father just called. I sounded.. sad. At first, we couldn't hear each other. He hung up after 56 seconds. Truly pathetic. He didn't even say "I know today is a difficult day for you".
No matter how I try: My feelings for him cant change, because he never changes. The most important people in his life, are his brother, and his cousins, the people that have treated me the worst. This is acceptable to him, which in itself is abnormal for a parent.
Honestly: I have one goal.. To make my business work. I want to pay him off,every penny, he's laid out for me this year, and I truly think he and I should be estranged. There is nothing there. My aunt the artist terms his one minute calls with me every day a "Duty call"., I'd say that's about it.
If my mom was here, she would be appalled. I think of how much she loved me, and how well she treated me, and how he behaves. The outcome of what happened to my mom, after how hard she fought to stay alive, and how much she suffered, is truly tragic. This SOB is the "winner". He knows it, and he loves it. He is truly inhuman.
