I have a lot of media presence in the tickling community where I post body/tickle content/daily fun silly content. I spend hours making stuff and interacting with people. For free. daily. I interact with everyone who reaches out. I’m friendly (until you give me a reason not to be). I enjoy interacting with my community. I enjoy people admiring me. I enjoy helping people navigate their kink.
So when that is STILL not enough for some people it’s infuriating. “Can you take pics for me?” “Can you do this?” “Can you do that?”
“Oh, you won’t? Fine fuck you.”
Then you get reported. Or name called. Or harassed. Or sometimes *stalked*. Our safety is always at risk. Every conversation is a potential risk for us. You don’t know who is on the other end. Or their intentions. It’s really disheartening and scary. Our autonomy and consent is constantly being pushed, tested, or abused.
Being “one of the good ones” isn’t enough. We all need to actively be combating the misogyny in the kink community. If you’re not a part of the solution (what is the solution? I don’t know, tbh) then you are a part of the problem.
It’s why most female-identifying have their DMs closed.
It’s why they start putting their stuff behind paywalls.
It’s why they won’t even entertain a conversation, even publicly.
It’s why you guys have such trouble meeting us.
Don’t blame us. Don’t “okay bitch” us. blame the reasons we’re so guarded.
