Blog Entry that if there are any replies.. I hope they will be human.
I took the test again today, and fell heartbreakingly two points short.
My fucking father.. after agreeing to meet with me. and saying "That's terrible" about my falling short.. went off on me about "Taking any job, and putting insurance aside. ". (Remember, I support myself for day to day living, so this was nothing but mean spiritedness on his part.)
I went ballistic, as it showed his true colors that he doesn't care
I picked myself up, left, and came home, and wrote him a ballistic e-mail, telling him that he entrapped me to meet with me, to kick me when I was down. I told him I need a break from him until after the 1st. There is no excuse for his behavior.
Jay, thank heaven, told me to just take the test again. I have to call tomorrow, but I will.
Nine points short the first time, two points short the second time.. Maybe,,. with taking a hiatus from my father for three weeks, the third time will be the charm.
To those who berated me about the "One and Done", my friend Barney told me he took the CPA exam FIVE TIMES before passing.
All that matters to me now is that I pass my exam.
Tomorrow, I call. More studying, and hopefully, next time, less nerves. The Prometric Center is a very nerveracking place. I have to try and put that out of my mind, hopefully.
Anyhow, so that's the story.
