Aflac stuff:
Had an all day review course today. Cant take the exam tomorrow, because I didn't get the magic 70 on the practice test yet. My highest score has been a 67 so far. Thankfully, it was clarified today, that I only have to get one 70 on a practice test, and then the 70 on the proctored final, before being able to take the state licensing exam.
The course teacher, Ed, who I believe is a Yeshiva U professor, scares the shit out of me. I haven't had any so called "Problems with him", but., his personality definitely is a "You better not fuck with me, or I will fuck you" type.
Jay, the guy that invited me into the company, didn't even acknowledge me today. I wonder if he was pissed because I was there for a second time with the "review course"., and how long its taking me to do. Thankfully, at least two other people from the class I had two weeks ago, were also returning. So I wasn't the only one having a hard time,.
Trevor, who has an even higher position that Jay, calmed my nerves,. At the end of the day, I went to him, and explained my test taking problem. He basically told me not to worry. They can log into my profile, and see how many times I've attempted the practice exam. Mostly three times a day, so it isn't as if I'm not busting my ass. Thankfully, Professor Ed told me about a helpful hint today of using cram sheets located on each chapter.
Tomorrow, it's back to work. I'm too beat to do anything tonight. I'm going to take a few hour break at my favorite place on Saturday,. (The casino), and besides that, its work all the way until the exam.
The good thing is: Professor Ed told us that after we pass the license exam, we wont be in the field alone. They will train us to understand the business. I feel thankful about that.
I want this.. so badly.
Tonight, is rest, and Jim Gardner. Hopefully, tomorrow morning, I will be up bright eyed, and ready to go.;
