Two instances today.
Was in the elevator on my way down to leave for my training session at the office. A cute girl who looked like she was on her way to the laundry room, started talking to me. I didn't get her name or number, a perfect missed opportunity. At least she lives in my building, so maybe there would be another.
Then.,.while I was at the office, before I went into the training session. I was standing in the corner, just waiting for everyone to go into the conference room. A girl who I don't think I had ever seen before, walked clear across the room, and handed me two pieces of candy. I was just like "Hi, thanks", but didn't take it any further. The sales school teacher was giving the training session, and as I've posted before, he has strongly told us not to involve ourselves in the office.
Hopefully, if I can get things moving with this business soon, I will feel more.. "Ready" to meet someone. Right now,. it doesn't seem to matter whether the person was the kindest, most understanding, most ticklish person in the world. I just don't feel ready. I just want to establish myself, in this company that I worked so hard to be in.
