Busy busy busy. 🙁 I have a shitload of homework to do, as usual. Mostly math, but a bit of reading to do, as well.
I rescheduled with my best friend, so we're not gonna hang out tomorrow, after all. Instead, we'll see each other when her birthday rolls around in November. We're also gonna see New Moon together. ^_^ Not a big Twilight fan, as you all know, but it'll be nice to see it with her since I saw the first Twilight movie with her, too. 😀
Oh, speaking of movies, I saw Whip It yesterday! It was a pretty decent film. Nothing spectacular, but there was a lot of good grrrl-power fun. Editing was bad, though. Kind of choppy...But at least I got to see a handful of really hawt women on skates beating the shit out of each other. And I was so happy that Zoe Bell was in this movie! She was Lucy Lawless' main stunt double in Xena. And I think Drew Barrymore's character, Smashley Simpson, was perpetually high or something. Ah, well. Overall, it was a good film. And Ellen Page is a cutie. The end.
Oh, and it was the first time I saw a movie in a theater by myself. 🙂 While I was watching Whip It, my mom and my brother were watching The Informant starring Matt Damon. But still, I hadn't been to the cinema with my family in a long time. Going to the movies was one of my absolute favorite childhood activities and I got really nostalgic looking at all the cardboard cutouts of the most recent films in the lobby. Good times...
At the moment I'm doing a bit of math and watching Tying the Knot, a documentary about gay marriage, in between sections. =)
Hmm...what shall the video of the <s>day</s> night be?
Oh, how about this really kickass new music video I found? 😀 It's by this Taiwanese girl group called S.H.E. (stands for Selina, Hebe, and Ella) Wow, I didn't know Chinese pop music could be so totally awesome! 😱 And wow, Selina and Hebe are adorable. And Ella is giving me some serious lesbian vibes with that tomboy look of hers.
