The past couple of nights I was reading through some stories I had written, both this year, and in previous years.
I know that some of them are completely unrealistic. Mitch the big home run hitter, baseball hero of Paradise Island. First of all most of the team was made up of actors and actresses, who would never play baseball in real life anyway, except maybe for a charity softball game to raise money for a cause. They are all too busy with their major acting careers.
The stories I wrote some of earlier this year, but had stopped, and may go back to, Ross the Marketing Guy, is far more realistic. He is very successful, he lives in Queens, he is in his 50s, has a pretty wife who is a teacher, and they have no children. I am an insurance agent, and I do have experience in Insurance, Marketing, Sales, etc. The only thing missing to this point is the major success that Ross the Marketing Guy had in the stories.
Some things that have happened this year caused the "creative juices not to flow" Yet, I am thinking of going back to writing that series. I could restart the saga, and have Ross create one company afrer the next, and one business saga after the next. I just have to think of how to start it up again.
I'm going to think about it, and see what comes about.
