Okay, so property management came in to inspect things and can you believe that they actually want US to pay for any water damage that took place downstairs? 😱 Apparently water seeped in through the ceiling and damaged our neighbors' carpets and they expect my mom to pay $1,000 for damage that wasn't even HER fault to begin with. 
They told her that because the hose was connected to our washing machine, that we're the ones responsible for it. 🙁 And she doesn't have renter's insurance because she always thought that it was for your own personal property...not for any damage done to the building. I mean, I can understand paying for damage when you've had invited a few friends over for a drunken party and got the walls smashed in or something. But for this? What the fuck? 
So yeah, we're gonna file a lawsuit for this because there's no way we're forking out all that cash for something we couldn't even help nor had no knowledge of. But the good news is that we were able to clean out the laundry room and it looks like that hardly any damage was done to our place. So we may not even have to replace the carpets after all. 
But I am glad that I was able to get some sort of relief from this stressful situation so quickly. Because hey, at least the hose is now fixed so we can start doing laundry again. XD
And now to lighten the mood, here is a video of probably the WORST worship session I've ever seen. My God, this man sounds so horribly robotic! As someone said in the comments to this video...Jesus is probably the only friend he has. xD
