It's never been suggested before, apparently, therefore I suggested it. I guess I'm the first one to think outside the box.

You didn't help. Now everyone has the wrong impression. :disgust: Great.

WITH the ability to make consent, people. Not if they aren't able to. If they ARE able to.

MY question is...

Do you think that - if one wishes to be waived of FORCED "care" "" - that there should be a Hippocratic Oath waiver for those who wish to not receive "aid" from DRs, no matter what?

Basically... Do you think that their bodies should be respected, regardless of what DRs believe should happen?

Let me put this into more detail..........

My belief that there should be a Hippocratic Oath waiver came about when I was checking out a thread around here somewhere that had to do with Obama-care. I naturally do not trust DRs - reasoning withheld, just ignore the reasoning and please just look at the subject at hand, without the reasoning - therefore I (as well as some people I know, personally, actually, so it isn't just me - (I know I'm weird, but it's not like I am truly the only "freak" on the face of this earth) - do not wish to receive health aid, no matter what happens to me. (Can you see how I stressed no matter what happens to me? ...Think of anything wrong that could happen to a human body. Think. Now put that into consideration. ...Nope! I still wouldn't want "help" for that! Okay, so let's say that this said person - let's call her Jane Doe ;) - is alive and well and young and healthy, and she prefers to keep it that way on her own and without "aid" from anyone else. Now, take the idea of a hypothetical waiver being created for Hippocratic Oath, that within this waiver, for those who sign it, they have put themselves on a list to be void of aid from DRs no matter what happens because they have requested it beforehand, by putting their good 'ole Johnny Hancock on the wavier. So say in the future this girl ... is showering or something ... slips in the tub, is knocked unconscious into a coma, and the EMS come to her house after they somehow found out - just an example, as I'm not sure how this would exactly go - and they find out that she has some sort of marking or some sort of material on her person that is a sign that she signed the wavier. This would mean that - despite the fact that she is unconscious and not able to speak out - that she will not receive aid from the EMS and from DRs because ... once again ... she signed that waiver.

The waiver itself is a future preventative of receiving "aid" from EMS and from DRs, no matter what happens to the individual(s) because it is THEIR choice and THEIR body. Therefore I believe that they should have a say what happens to their body, despite the arrogance that a DR would have over the individual, with the belief that "I have had more training than you, so I know best, therefore your body is my property!" That's arrogance, outright, and I'm against the arrogant mindset implying that it has the right to dictate others, as if that person is any less of a human being because of a smaller intellectual contribution of their brain!

:flatstare: If something like this isn't put into action, arrogance will destroy us all. It's just a matter of time.

Waiver Idea
1)
Anyone can sign this wavier, regardless of age, religion, race, gender, etc.

2)
This person will be permanently on the waiver unless they legally have their name removed from the waiver. Once they have their name added, they can only remove themselves once, and once they remove themselves, they cannot add themselves again. They must make up their minds once and keep it that way!

3)
The person(s) who sign this waiver are guaranteed that they will not receive mandatory services that the public is entitled to, nor will they be able to receive any from of health care anywhere, whatsoever. They will also not have to pay health-care taxes, and they will also be exempt from paying for health care in general, as they will never be receiving it.

4)
In the event that a person(s) were to be in an accident that caused them to become unconscious/comatose, they can choose to still be on the waiver, but to only receive bodily care if they were to be in this state. In the event that they would choose this option - to refuse all health aid if conscious, but to receive it if unconscious/comatose - they would not be void of having to pay for health care/health taxes if they select this option.

That's about all I can think of right now. If anyone has suggestions to add on to this idea, I would be more than happy to know what they are. :)
