    Hi--how the heck are ya'? I hope all is well in your world. I'm recovering from some sort of summer bug and the belly hasn't been happy in awhile. I have a birthday to celebrate with a disabled friend, and a birthday call to an ex--woohoo! Exciting week for me! How are things with you?

    I've had a few people do the same to me; it bugs me for about five seconds then I'm done with it. If it happens more than once, I just won't post in their threads anymore.

    The only time i'm in a snarky mood * thats my new favorite word btw lol * is when I try to be nice to people leave them comments on there board or something and get ignored simply because they dont wanna take the time to get to know me other than that i'm a cheerful person

    You do have a way of standing out if you're in a snarky mood. You might be putting a bullseye on your own back! Yeah, the online HS reference rings true at times around here. I try to stay out of it but like Pacino said in Godfather III "every time I try to get out, they keep pulling me back in!"

    Nah its mostly cuz sometimes I make smartass remarks on topics but apparently its bad if I do it but when those certian members do it its ok , truthfully TMF has turned into a goddamn online HS

    I've felt like you at times, but I learned years ago to just let it go. It's made my experiences here much better; maybe you should consider the same. Learn to pick your battles and learn when to walk away. I'm not 100% perfect with it, but I've gotten much better over the years.

    Yeah for me certian members of the forum shoot their mouths off and show their ignorance and get away with it because certian mods enable them and give them a pass .

    Everyone who's on my friends list has approached me first and there have been some interesting ones. I'm very careful who I would consider a friend in cyberspace and if I check the "yes" box, it's not just for kicks. They are people I've been corresponding with for years or want to get to know better. And if someone doesn't like you or jell well with you, why do they even bother? When it comes to P&R, we're rarely going to agree and that's okay as long as we treat each other respectfully (which is rare in that subforum) but othewise I'm sure we can find some common ground.

    Yeah I had alot more "friends" on my list but I deleted them all cuz half of them have bias opinions of and don't like me so I figure if they really wanna be friends they can add me .

    Well it looks like you've answered your question! I feel the exact same way; I don't mind disagreement--it's just the way one disagrees that can get under my skin at times.

    It sucks when you get shouted down by the masses and it happens a lot around here. Your opinion matters Adam and it's important to me. You just appeared agitated and I didn't want the thread torn up because it was on it's way. Take care, have a beer and the day will be over before you know it.
