My former husband used to have a rule, he never removed his shoes in another house, unless the host gave him house shoes to wear. He thought the burden of courtesy was on the host. Do you need to know more about him? I don't insist upon it in my house, but it helps :jester:

I did it quite a bit when I was younger, I'm having problems now.

I will probably never marry again, marriage is an institution that positively reeks in my opinion. Even more certain is that I'd rather drink petrol than marry another male. Two people who love each other should have the right to marry, though, if they so choose. I don't care what the bible...

The US have a president who refers to these people as one would pulp novel villains...and as politicians are really representative of their constituency, I find that many Americans that I speak to are of the same mind, the us and them view of the world, these people good, those people bad...

I would order one huge, monstrous dinner from Sonny's Barbecue, one that would take me at least an hour to devour...barbecue pork and chicken, all the sides! :cool: For dessert, I'd have something that I had a long time ago the first time I ever visited the States. I'd have a Reese's peanut...
