It is surprisingly very comfortable and very effective. I didn't expect it to be when I built it. I used pipe clamps for each of the toes. Key chain rings attached to those. Then a hook/eye bolt contraption. Turn the center piece one way, it tightens and the other, loosens. Finally some locking...
