Reagan and Gorbachev attended the event mediated by the rock star, and good times were had by all. For at least a day the world could relax and forget about the Cold War.

Very cool pic of Nena!

Not a fan of /F tickling, but I'm a huge fan of Nena, even though she was a one-hit wonder here in the US.

Europe, however, was a different story, from what I understand. The group (yes, Nena was a group) had three successful CDs, and Nena Kerner went solo with a few successful CDs and television appearances as well.

In 2003-2004, she celebrated her 20th anniversary in the music business with a CD which was new versions of her hit songs. A remake of "Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime" from Nena's 3rd CD was turned into a duet with fellow 80s singer Kim Wilde, and it became a huge hit around Europe, giving her career new life.
