Are tickling or bondage videos legal in Canada?

Hello everyone - I have been away from this forum for quite a while as I developed severe arthritis in a hip and had to get a hip replacement. I can't session anymore or anything like that. I have been wondering, though, if it is legal in Canada to have tickling and other bondage videos on my computer in Canada. I mean videos like Tickle Abuse, Tickle-Submission and so on as well as other bondage like Spanking Machine, Orgasm Abuse and so on. Can anyone tell me?

There are tickling video companies that are run out of Canada so I'd assume it's not illegal to own the videos in the country in which it was made. I'm not 100% sure but I can't see where that would be a problem.

I can't imagine it being illegal. Could just be that none of the tickling producers in The Great White North has decided to emulate the bondage scenarios those companies use.

Plus, with Fetlife being based in Canada, I doubt there should be any issues should a producer decide on the restrictive bondage and nudity for their videos.

There several internet reference on Canadian laws that suggest they are not to keen on BDSM. You might want to be careful. If they wanted to consider tickle abuse or tickle torture, abuse or torture it could be trouble. Several references to Canadian laws stating Canadians do not have the right to subject them selves to bodily harm. ANd at least 1 reference for this regarding custom agents seizing porn so it appears to go beyond actual participation.

It turns out Canada isn't so tolerant of BDSM. While our laws don't single out any specific sex acts for eradication, they're not exactly friendly to violent porn, pro-dommes or consensual flogging either.
Our Criminal Code deems porn obscene if crime, horror, cruelty, or violence is a dominant characteristic. Canadian customs agents have the right to seize smut they deem distasteful. If you pay to get spanked, technically you're paying for sex, and the new Bill C-36, which targets sex work, has that on lockdown. And as for everyday BDSM, Canadians can't legally consent to serious bodily harm.
