jesus...really? already? wow
Churin is berry berry fast! Like lightning fast! XD All joking aside...this one has been in the works for awhile. I'm so glad that it can finally see the light of day.
Never cease to amaze! Love it all, wow! just gorgeous work!
Thanks, brother! I will absolutely pass that along to Churin and the art team. I'm with you - they did a great job on this new Bounce Chix/TIS series. Thanks for the very kind words.
Many thanks, good buddy. More is already on the way! ;-) We appreciate the generous support.
Very kind of you to say. Churin and the art team works really hard on this stuff, adding details and loving care that goes above and beyond expectations. Thanks for popping by and cheering them on!
Wow. Talk about setting things in motion and then seeing them come out rather quickly!
Your reviews are always a true joy to read. Thank you beyond words for noticing all the nuances of these projects, for truly getting into the characters and the worlds, for fiending like a boss about the tickle torture, and for caring enough to spend lots of time sharing your thoughts with the creative team. It is helpful beyond imagining. And more so...it's really cool of you to do. Thank you.
I'm also not going to lie; I'm definitely more of a Tickling in Space guy over the Bounce Chix. Not like there is any sorta thing behind that, but the TiS girls always had this incredible sense of character and possibility and they definitely captured my imagination. That also being said, I do have a soft spot for the Chix, especially after Bounce of Aces, which was one of the hottest and most fun romps in the genre I've ever had.
Nothing wrong with any of that, yeah? I mean...part of what I love about creating material for this genre is having variety available now that we simply didn't have as a community 5 or 10 years ago. There's more stuff being produced for this genre than ever before. And that's so freaking awesome. Now folks can have their favorites and their second favorites...and their nineteenth favorites. The Bounce Chix will always have a special place in my heart. And watching Hailey get her ridiculously hot body tickled all over once again is just....yeah...good times. But with collaborators like Ponce, Churin, and Ticklefur, and Scavenger, and Franco, and Durate, and many others...the TIS world has turned into something really special over the years. And it grows with every new project or issue.
I was also intrigued by seeing Churin doing the art for this series. I'm very accustomed to seeing Ponce doing the art and the like, that to be honest, I was a little hesitant before diving in because I dunno how some of my favorite gals are going to look under the pen of a new artist.
Totally understandable. Whenever a set of beloved characters (saying you love them...not that my characters are the apex of creation or anything) changes hands...it's always a cause for alarm. We had Churin do sketches of every single TIS character for the series before he was given the script for BRIGAND'S BAY 1. And he knocked them out of the park. There are definitely differences in his approach versus Ponce...but they both bring their own special magic to the universe, imho.
All in all, what I got here was an extremely fun romp that mixed together two things like peanut butter and jelly, and with what was revealed within, I'm definitely dying to see more!
Yay! Thanks, man. I'm so glad it was fun and that you're eager for the next installment. Churin is cranking on this series so far. So, we might not be that far away from the next issue!
What we have is a crew split with Dusty and Koki. That is the underpinning here; a sort of...return to roots for different characters within the story. To be honest, I'm not against this in principle. What it seems to be is more of a core finding yourself kind of story, finding the things that originally made each individual character up, like in the original TiS. I'm intrigued on how this will play out, especially since it seems very in line with that sort of concept from the original, almost like it's a modernization of it. Crew member against crew members can definitely be fun, and the Chix add a little element of the unknown that could create explosive consequences.
As always, you nailed it. BRIGAND'S BAY is exactly that. The TICKLING IN SPACE crew has been through so much since that original romp in which we saw the ticklish battle between Dusty and Koki and their crews. BB is a return to that struggle. And to the raw erotic ticklish ecstasy and agony that comes from these characters being tickled again by the friends, crushes and rivals that know them so well (and all their tickle spots!).
One really amazing thing from the onset is how Churin articulates and draws his characters. Hailey is to die for here, whether it is her body or those swollen nipples of her, I am in absolute love. There's also a lot of distinction between characters bodies that I would've been worried about at first but comes together amazingly; Downey is cut like a blade, Dusty's chest is impressive but she carries a lot of power in her tight athletic form, Koki looks like she'd has the rocking body of a swim suit model, and Booki does terrible things to me because I adore her so much.
Oh, Hailey. Yeah. When I saw the roughs for this comic I nearly passed out. Hailey is amazing in this comic. And thanks for the high praise for Churin. I agree that he nailed the differing body-types and personalities of the TIS babes. It is not something I take lightly with this sort of cross over. I want the TIS babes to still BE the TIS babes.
I think, as a story, what is presented here sets up some intriguing elements about what is coming in the future. First releases are something of a contract to the audience, to get them to come back, and while we you want entice, you also need to make sure that you don't hide all your bullets in the chamber. Hailey's nipples being rolled, hell, her tickles, the singular panels involving other characters, I think they all set a pace very well that involves a delicious ramp up. Choosing Hailey to go first is probably even the best choice, since her body really is enough to drive and entice you.
I'm hoping that the series quickly gains a dangerous momentum from issue to issue. BRIGAND'S BAY is all about this tickling civil war between Koki's crew and Dusty's. So, every issue will focus on tickling (of course), but also capture. In these comics it is often difficult to devote enough time to a pursuit and capture scenario, since we want to devote as much space as possible to the actual erotic tickling. But I think BB will take an interesting approach in that regard. At least, I think it's interesting. LMAO. We'll see what the audience thinks. ;-)
Rostokfx is doing letters here, and man, I love them. Like really love them. Roel's colors are actually very choice here as well. I see a lot of potential in Churin as well as he continues drawing these characters and settles into this universe, especially since for a first go, he does an absolutely incredible job.
Rosto and Roel make an awesome team. I like Roel's bright palette and the hard cuts he makes with his shading. And Rosto really brings the dialog, tickle talk, and laughter to life. I hope Churin continues to impress in future issues. I've seen the pencils already for issue 2...and they're....VERY compelling. XD
I think, as a release, this a cool hit. Definitely looking forward to more from Bandito and team here!
Thanks again, good buddy.
I truly appreciate the wonderful wonderful wonderful feedback.

And huge thanks to all of you for allowing us to do another TIS/Bounce Chix cross over series, and another new comic arc!
I hope you all continue to dig it.
We adore all of your amazing support,
