I was on the internet the other day looking at the clips 4sale tickle website and a girl i know walked up behind me and said something like oh you like tickling and i just froze and tried to change the subject. I am al= little freaked out by this in that if she tells alot of people i work with it could ruin my reputation at work. What should i do. I am really freaking out about this

Well, first things first, make sure to be safe when looking at any sensitive online content.

Second, if this girl said it so matter of factly, then I doubt she's horrified or anything. In fact, I'd venture a guess that she has a kink or two of her own, since she was able to recognize it. Most true "vanillas" would need some explaining first.

If I were in your position, I'd not mention it to her, and hopefully just let it pass. I doubt she'd feel like sharing that info with your coworkers.

Depends on her tone of voice . How did she sound when she said it ?

Why do you look at clips4sale when there are people around?

But apart from that, I don't think it's a big deal. If someone actually asks you, which I doubt, say you were just surfing! :)

Were you actually at work when this girl just happened to walk by? Where were you looking at that site when she walked past?

Bad bad, looking at that at work. But oh well lol, what's done is done.

Sounds like she wasn't too horrified/embarassed if she spoke so openly and matter-of-factly about it. If anything, it would just be awkward if she tried to bring it up to a coworker. So just pretend nothing happened, and keep being respectful and nice to her, and I doubt anything bad will happen.

But next time you look at that site at work...:dom:

I would personally make a joke of it, like next time you see her tell to "hide her ticklish spots cuz here comes the tickle monster". Gotta be able to laugh about things you know.. Thats just me though..

If you were looking at C4S at work, you deserve to get caught. If you were at work... hope HR does not call you down someday.

Could be the best thing that happend to you. Might meet a woman with the same interest. The best defense is humor. "That's funny how you get turned on by tickling". "Yeah I guess it's better than a shit eating fetish eh?"

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhiiiiiii don't think I'd say this, either.

I wouldn't go that far! I mean, if he was reading an MSNBC article about ... tickling helping cure depression and she said that, it might be funny to say that. However, getting caught looking on a site with mainly porn on it... eh not the best idea in my opinion. I think it would be like getting caught looking at school girl porn and saying "Halloween is the best because girls dress up like this"... except it would be something funny because I can't think of anything good for that.

Let me just say this. If I walked in on a guy at work looking up fetish porn, I don't think I would ever want him to mention it to me again. She may have said something as a...Hey I saw what you were looking at so you probably shouldn't be doing it at work. Or maybe even as a casual comment. But I highly recommend not bringing it up again unless she does so with you. And if she does? Redirect the conversation. You don't want to lose your job crossing inappropriate lines.

I think your first mistake was checking this out at work. If so, I think the first thing you should do is erase your internet history. Go into Tools--> Internet options and delete everything in "Browsing History". I'm assuming that you use Internet Explorer at work. The next thing I would do is to completely ignore what happened. When you see her, just act like nothing happened. In a couple of days, it will fade from memory and she may even start questioning herself as to what she saw. The way you describe her reaction it does sound like she is aware of tickle fetishes. Good luck.

Why are you looking at tickle sites on your work computer? First of all, as you found out the hard way, you run the risk of getting caught by a co worker. Secondly, I don't know anything about your place of employment, but many companies IT depts monitor websites viewed by employees, and some narrow minded HR people might overreact to any company personnel checking out "adult" websites in the workplace. Once I got my hand slapped by an HR person because she saw me tickle a girl at work. The girl was very ticklish, and very friendly and didn't seem to mind being tickled. But this uptight HR person spoke to my boss, who in turn spoke to me and after that, it was hands off when it came to any of my co-workers

Hell, I recall getting caught at a job back in 1997-98. Luckily, it was before most workplaces had Internet filters and spying software in place to monitor workers' Internet use, but it was embarrass
ing. It was toward the end of my shift, and I was bored, so I called up some tickling videos. One froze, likely from virus, and I panicked. Without thinking, I called over a colleague. He looked at the screen and said "Uh huh" in a disapproving way. Luckily, he was a creepy loner type who probably looked at much worse, so he never ratted me out.

:couch:

I would like to mirror what magic fingers said , however, removing "narrow minded" and "uptight" from his comments. My firm represents a number of employers and I have seen employees fired (and rightfully so under the laws as they are today - like them or hate them) for alot less.

I totaly outed myself as a tickle and foot fetishist on national TV last month, so everyone know Im into it...that includes all of my several hundred coworkers and bosses. My best tip for you if people "joke" about it...take it with a big portion of "self-irony". Don't get offended by it, but joke with em about yourself. Here the other day I was having a break on a small "rest place" have have on one of the train stations here in Norway. We where about 20 people there talking together when suddently one of them says to me. "So Espen...I saw you on TV the other night!". Some of the people who didn't see the show then of course asked what show this was. He then says "Espen is a foot and tickle fetishist". And suddently all where asking me questions about this. Instead of freaking out, be proud of who you are, what you like and make jokes about your self back about it. Don't freak out that people know this. In the end of the talk they all sayd they really respected me for having the balls to be so open about this. And remeber this...Having a fetish is TOTALY NORMAL! Never forget that! Don't let anyone tell you something else.

Office rules aside, our fetish does not inspire moral outrage in most people. Most folks I know think its "cute." With any luck, your female coworkers will think it is too. Could be a blessing in disguise.

While not inspiring outrage in most people, you'll find this forum is rife with clips folks have posted where people talk about how horrible tickling fetish is and equate it to be on par with physical abuse. Our fetish carries a stigma same as many others...

I agree and disagree slightly. Some people react to the tickling fetish as childish, immature, weird. I feel like foot fetishes, other fetishes and lifestyles often are viewed with more "respect" than tickling.

I think when it comes to some, the issue with people that leads to the moral outrage is when that line is crossed. Sure tickling is socially acceptable, but if you add anything to it like bondage or excessiveness or the torture- then yes, it does carry the same stigma as other fetishes.

Of course, being as biased as I am- I don't think tickling is horrible at all.

My suggestions:

1. Don't bring fetish, porn, or other sexual websites up on work computers, ever. Even if you are in good stead on your job, there can always come a time when the tide turns and they're looking for excuses to get rid of you.

2. If someone catches you looking at TMF, say something casual like "Oh, I look at a lot of silly stuff." Don't go into cover-up mode.

3. In this instance, let it go and act like nothing happened. If it comes up, follow suggestion #2 above.

Seems like a lot of people freaked out on this guy for looking at the site at work when he never said it was actually at work.

Pick up your "will tickle for food" sign as you leave

Not even if you work for clips 4 sale should you access the site at work! ;) ****crash**** ****Anal retentive police knock down GT's door**** Seriously, doing something like that at work can bite you on the ass, and not in the good way!! Don't porn surf or jerk(off) at work, or HR may say you're fired, co-workers are not co-lurkers!!

I was wondering about that, too! He just said a girl he knows walked up behind him - could as well have been in an internet cafe!
